Career

He is perhaps most associated with Hannover 96, for whom he is their record goalscorer too. He played in the 1984 Olympics for the West Germany football team Since retiring from playing, he has coached as various clubs including Emden, San Francisco Ricklingen, Arminia Hannover and SVG Göttingen 07.

He is currently a Scout for Hannover 96.
