Douglas Norman "Duggie" Stewart was a British equestrian who won a gold medal in the team event at the 1952 Summer Olympics.

He was born in Doonholm, South Ayrshire and died in Midlem.

He won the Academy Award for Best Film Editing for the film, The Right Stuff (1983), along with co-editors Glenn Farr, Lisa Fruchtman, Stephen A. Rotter, and Tom Rolf.
