He played college basketball for Wisconsin. He grew up in Deerfield, Illinois where he attended Deerfield High School. He later played college basketball for the University of Wisconsin.
After going undrafted in the 2015 National Basketball Association draft, Dukan joined the Sacramento Kings for the 2015 National Basketball Association Summer League.
On July 22, 2015, Dukan signed with the Kings. On November 13, he made his professional debut in a 123–121 Reno loss to the Los Angeles Doctorate-Fenders, recording 14 points and 2 rebounds in 34 minutes.
During his rookie season, he has received multiple assignments to the Reno Bighorns, the Kings" Doctorate-League affiliate. His father, Ivica Dukan, played basketball professionally in Europe for 15 years and is now an international basketball scout for the Chicago Bulls.
