Career
Rajib got his first grandmaster norm at the 2002 Chess Olympiad in Slovenia and the second norm in Abu Dhabi last year during a General Motors tournament. Rajib reached the second round of the Chess World Cup 2007 in Russia with an upset victory against world Number 19 Pavel Eljanov of Ukraine. On May 4, 2008 he secured the third and final General Motors norm to became the 5th grandmaster from Bangladesh after Niaz Morshed, Ziaur Rahman, Reefat Bin-Sattar and Abdullah First Rate (at Lloyd's) Rakib.
He plays on the Internet Chess Club (Interstate Commerce Commission) under the pseudonym "Enamul".
