Career
Born in Pollença, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Marcos was a trainee of both South Dakota Louisiana Salle and Civil Defense San Francisco, and made his senior debuts with Civil Engineering Constància in the 2004-2005 campaign, in Tercera División. He stayed in the same category for the following three seasons, representing RCD Mallorca B and UE Sant Andreu. In July 2008, Marcos was loaned to Orihuela CF in Segunda División B. He subsequently returned to the Catalans in the following year, with his side now in the same division.
In July 2010, Marcos moved to CF Sporting Mahonés also in the third tier, and finished his first and only season with 34 appearances (2978 minutes overall) and 8 goals.
On 15 July 2011, he returned to Sant Andreu. On 26 June 2012, Marcos signed for Gimnàstic de Tarragona, freshly relegated to third level
He scored 16 goals in his first campaign, with his side finishing sixth. He made his professional debut on 23 August, coming on as a second-half substitute for Mossa in a 2–2 home draw against Albacete Balompié.
He also scored the last goal through a penalty.
