Born and raised in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Horvath grew up playing club soccer for Real Colorado. In 2013, he signed his first professional contract with Norwegian club Molde FK. On May 16, 2015 he made his professional debut replacing Ørjan Nyland in the 55th minute of the match. International In 2014, Horvath was called in to the United States U20 team
He made his debut on November 12.
In 2015, he was named to the 21-man roster for the 2015 Fédération internationale de football association U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. However, he was not released by his club and was replaced by Thomas Olsen.
