Career
She was awarded seven times of children"s literature Born in Rome Italy, Furnari"s family moved to Brazil in 1950, when she was two years old. She graduated in architecture at the University of São Paulo, and from 1976, began to venture in the publication of picture books, without text. Furnari has collaborated in the children"s section Folhinha of the newspaper Folha de South.Paulo, in which she created one of her more known characters, "Bruxinha".
In 2002, she was selected to illustrate a new edition of six children books by Érico Veríssimo.
