Career
In an interview on November 11, 1991, at the age of 82, Adams claimed to be the "oldest living American Olympic medalist". Given the source of this claim it may be that she was referring to track and field athletes only.
Achievements
She competed for the United States in the 1932 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, United States of America in the 80 metre hurdles where she won the Silver medal behind fellow American Babe Didrikson.
