Alpine skiing career
He started as alpine skier in fast disciplines. Freestyle skiing career (2008)
So he rather joined FIS Freestyle Skiing His debut performance in 2007-2008 FIS Freestyle Skiing season was a ski cross competition on March 6, 2008 in Grindelwald, Switzerland. In 2008-2009 season he performed on his only one competition in halfpipe.
First Olympics (2010)
He represented Slovenia at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, where he competed in ski cross he took 8th place.
At 2011 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships in Deer Valley, where he competed in Men"s ski cross he took 11th place. Winter X Games medal (2012)

He has four wins in total.
By the number of wins in Men"s Ski Cross he is currently at 7th place in all time ranking. Olympics (2014)
In Sochi At 2014 Winter Olympics he competed in men"s ski cross where he reached the semi finals.
In the small final he placed second, behind Egor Korotkov and ahead of Armin Niederer and Florian Eigler, thus ranking overall sixth in the competition.
On 25 January 2015 he produced a stunning performance in the final of FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2015 ski cross and managed to climb from 3rd to 1st place in the last few meters of the race. Standings
