Career

Weir joined Tottenham from Sheffield Wednesday in 1912 where he featured in 71 matches and scoring one goal. The determined wing half played a total of 101 matches and scored on two occasions in all competitions for the White Hart Lane club between 1912 and 1915. Weir was killed in action while serving in the First World War with the Royal Engineers on 9 July 1918.
