Career
During his high school career at Luzerne High School, Crossin averaged 24 points per game, which was especially high for the time period. Crossin was offered scholarships by many schools, including Georgetown University and the University of North Carolina, but he elected to attend the University of Pennsylvania. Crossin was drafted with the 6th pick in the inaugural 1947 Bachelor of Applied Arts Draft by the Philadelphia Warriors.
In three Bachelor of Applied Arts seasons, Crossin averaged 4.7 points per game and 1.5 assists per game.
