Career
Born at Rockdale, New South Wales in 1902, Frank "Fatty" Saunders played with the Street George Dragons during the clubs" foundation years. He played seven seasons with Saints between 1923-1929 including Saint George"s first grand final in 1927. Saunders also represeneted North.S.W. on two occasions in 1924-1925.
After his retirement from football, he was a committeeman and loyal servant of the Street George Dragons for most of his life.
Frank Saunders died from cancer on 19 July 1978.
