Career
Born in Hapton, Lancashire, England, Miller played only for during his career. He twice managed the Clarets between 1979 and 1983 and between 1986 and 1989. Miller died peacefully surrounded by his family in General Hospital at the age of seventy following a short illness.
Miller spent five weeks in General Hospital with the illness before he died.
A minute"s silence in memory of Miller was observed prior to "s game against Cardiff City on 9 April 2007. Their sons, Chris & Paul also pulled on the Claret shirt.
