Career

He played for Football Club Energie Cottbus from 2000 until 2002. During that time he became a Bosnia-Herzegovina international, earning 18 caps in which he scored one goal. Akrapović is a currently coaching FK Shkëndija in the Macedonian First League.

On 16 January 2010, Akrapović received his Union of European Football Associations Pro Licence in Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina"s educational facility in Jablanica.
