Career

Born in Philadelphia, he played from 1947 to 1954 with the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers and Brooklyn Dodgers. He served in the United States. Army for three years during World World War II (1943–1945). He died in Colville, Washington.
