NBL
Goulding started his NBL career as a development player with the Brisbane Bullets for the 2006-2007 NBL season. He managed just one game in his first season. He was with the Bullets until the club folded at the end of the 2007-2008 NBL season.
In 2008, he joined the Perth Wildcats for the 2008-2009 NBL season.
In June 2009, Goulding signed with the Gold Coast Blaze and re-united with his coach at the Bullets, Joey Wright. In 2010, he played for the Fleet team in the Foot Locker Elite Classic – High Stakes Hoops.
In August 2012, following the Gold Coast Blaze"s decision to withdraw from the NBL due to finical constraints, Goulding signed with the Melbourne Tigers for the 2012-2013 season. In the 2012 NBL All-Star Game held at the Adelaide Arena on 22 December 2012, Goulding was the top scorer with 24 points.
He also had 5 rebounds and 4 assists on his way to winning the game"s Most Valuable Player award.
On 19 April 2013, Goulding re-signed with the Tigers on a two-year deal. In July 2013, Goulding joined the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2013 National Basketball Association Summer League. lieutenant was the NBL"s first individual 50-point game since reverting to 40-minute games.
In July 2014, Goulding joined the Dallas Mavericks for the 2014 National Basketball Association Summer League.
Spain
On 22 July 2014, Goulding signed a one-year deal with Computer-assisted instruction Zaragoza of the Liga ACB. In 33 league games for Zaragoza, he averaged 8.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. Return to NBL
On 30 June 2015, Goulding signed a one-year deal with Melbourne United.
On 9 November 2015, Goulding was involved in a contentious collision with Corey Webster of the New Zealand Breakers, with an unsportsmanlike foul being called on Webster for a push on Goulding that many received as a "flop" by Goulding. The result was not received well by the basketball community or the Breakers, with Breakers head coach Dean Vickerman even calling for the game to be replayed.
However, in their semi-final series against the fourth-seeded New Zealand Breakers, United were swept 2–0 to bow out of the playoffs.
In 29 games for United in 2015-2016, Goulding averaged 18.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Italy
On 22 February 2016, Goulding signed with Auxilium Torino of Italy for the rest of the 2015-2016 Lega Basket Serie A season.
