Coco’s father, Michael Ho, was a professional surfer (World Cup and 1982 Pipe Masters) as well as her uncle, Derek Ho (1993 World Champion).

She began surfing at 7 years old, following in the footsteps of her family. At age 7, Coco Ho began following in the footsteps of her surfer family. Her brother, Mason Ho (1st Place Cold Water Classic Association of Software Professionals Pro Junior 2008), played a huge role in Coco’s early surfing influence by her wanting to surf as well as him.
Coco earned her first sponsorship at 8-years-old and at age 17, she qualified for the Association of Software Professionals Women's World Championship Tour.
Raised on Oahu’s North Shore, Coco spent most of her time surfing the "Seven Mile Miracle”. Ho is currently ranked number twelve in the top female surfer in the World.
