Career
Born in Córdoba, Andalusia, Torres made his senior debuts with Atlético Malagueño, then moved to Real Jaén in the 2004 summer. In January 2005, after failing to appear with the club, he joined Córdoba CF B still in his native region. In the following seasons Torres continued to play in Tercera División (plus one in the fifth level, with Villa del Río CF), representing Torredonjimeno CF, Motril CF and RSD Alcalá.
In July 2012 Torres returned to Jaén, with the club still in Segunda División B. He netted once in 25 games in his first year, adding six appearances in the successful promotion playoffs.
On 1 September 2013, aged 29, Torres played his first professional match, featuring as a second-half substitute in a 2–4 away loss against Civil Defense Lugo.
