Career
He made his debut for Saprissa in 2009 and has been with the club ever since. Guzmán played at the 2007 Fédération internationale de football association U-17 World Cup and in the 2009 Fédération internationale de football association U-20 World Cup, where the Costa Rica national under-20 football team, came 4th after losing to Hungary in the match for the 3rd place. He made his senior debut for Costa Rica in an October 2010 friendly match against Peru and has, as of May 2014, earned a total of 9 caps, scoring no goals.
He represented his country at the 2011 Copa América and was a non-playing squad member at the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
