Abijeet Duddala was born to Manmohan Duddala and Lakshmi Prasanna Duddala on 11 October 1988.

He made his debut as the narrative main lead "Srinu" in the film Life Is Beautiful directed by Sekhar Kammula in the year 2012. His ancestors migrated to Hyderabad to assist with the construction of the Charminar. Ever since, his family has been into the construction and contracts business.
He studied his kindergarten in Chaitanya Vidyalaya.
He did his primary and higher school education in Rishi Valley School, founded by Jiddu Krishnamurti, in Madanapally, Chittoor district, before graduating as an Aeronautical Engineer from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. During his final year of college, an assistant director from Sekhar Kammula’s team contacted him asking him to audition for the film Life Is Beautiful after going through his profile on a social networking website.
He subsequently got selected and was cast as the main lead of the film as Amala Akkineni’s son. Abijeet made his debut in a Telugu feature film titled Life Is Beautiful directed by Sekhar Kammula.
The movie was released worldwide and collected Rs.
22 crores in its first week and went on to be declared a box office hit. Many comparisons were drawn to Sekhar’s earlier film, Happy Days due to the similarity of the genre. His second film is titled Areyrey, again after a song from the same movie.
