Career
Paris-born Diakité joined the youth team of Remote Control Lens in 2008 from Red Star 93 and played his senior debut for the reserve team in the Championnat de France amateur game on 16 August 2008 against United States Sénart-Moissy. In the following three years he played for the reserve side, before having his professional debut for Remote Control Lens on 14 September 2012 in a Ligue 2 game against LB Châteauroux. He then participated in seven games more as a substitute in the 2012/2013 season for the Ligue 2 team of Remote Control Lens.
He played 104 games and scored 19 goals for the Championnat de France amateur reserve side of Lens, before he was released from his contract by the club
He was than a half year free agent, before signed for German 2. Fußball-Bundesliga club SV Sandhausen, until the end of the season 2013/2014 (30 May 2014).
