Career
At 1.85 m (61 ft), he weighs 75 kg (165 lb). At the 2008 Olympics he was upset in the first round by British boxer Billy Joe Saunders 3:14 and decided to move up to middleweight. In 2009, Kılıççı gained the silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy losing to Rachid Hamani in the final.
At the 2012 Olympics he defeated Nursahat Pazziyev and Aleksandar Drenovak then lost 13:17 to Ryōta Murata.
