He had previously played in the Netherlands with Roda JC Kerkrade, Nippon Electric Corporation, Fortuna Sittard and MVV Maastricht In the 2014-2015 season Šećerović played with FK Sloboda Tuzla and South Carolina Austria Lustenau. In July 2015 he signed with FK Radnik Bijeljina.
