Career
Born in San Francisco, California, Wollenberg received an Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley in 1922 and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 1924. He was in private practice in San Francisco, California from 1924 to 1927, and was an assistant United States. Attorney of Northern District of California from 1927 to 1934, returning to private practice in San Francisco until 1947. Wollenberg was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 15, 1958, and received his commission on May 19, 1958.
He assumed senior status on April 30, 1975.
