He was awarded posthumously the Gold Star of the Hero of the Russian Federation for his role in extinguishing the fire. Aldar Tsydenzhapov was born August 4, 1991 in Aginskoye, Agin-Buryat Autonomous Okrug. After graduating from the hometown middle school № 1 in 2009, Tsydenzhapov was called up to military service in November and transferred to the military unit № 40074 of the Pacific Fleet, stationed in Fokino, Primorsky Krai.
