Career
He is the author of Shelter Maine, Oblivion Road, Lost Summer, and Bad Girls, all released by Music Television and Pocket. His script "Flower" appeared on the 2012 Black List and is being produced by Rough House Pictures. Alex also wrote the sequel to The War of the Roses (film) based on Warren Adler"s novel The Children of the Roses, which is being produced by David Permut and Grey Eagle Films.
Under the name Charles Douglas, Alex has recorded five indie-rock albums, including The Lives of Charles Douglas which features Maureen Tucker from The Velvet Underground on drums, and Statecraft with Joey Santiago from The Pixies on guitars.
