Who works as Director Football at Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim right now. Rosen made his debut on the professional league level in the Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt on 20 February 1999 when he came on as a substitute for Frank Gerster in the 86th minute in a game against Turn- und Sportverein 1860 München. While being under contract in Frankfurt, Rosen has been on loan with Football Club Augsburg and VfL Osnabrück.
After his return to Frankfurt he played in three more matches in der 2.
Bundesliga before leaving for 1. Football Club Saarbrücken prior to the 2003/04 season After a short stint with Sportvereinigung Elversberg he switched to Norwegian Club Follo Fotball in December 2005.
In Norway he was more than a player. Rosen also worked as an assistant for the club management.
After his two-year-stint with Follo he changed for traditional club Stuttgarter Kickers in the Regionalliga Südaughter
After a dramatic end to his first season there the club reached relegation matches for the 3. Liga. After failing to qualify for the higher league, he switched to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. This is where he ended his playing career.
Rosen played his last match in December 2010 in a 1:2 home loss to South Carolina Pfullendorf.
In 2009, while still playing professionally, Rosen started his professional development as a sports business administrator. Afterwards he enrolled to the University of Applied Sciences at Schmalkalden where sports economics were his main subject.
In November 2010 Rosen took over as development performance centre manager for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In April 2013 he was promoted to Leiter Profifußball at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
Since October 2013 his official job title is Direktor Profifußball.
Rosen is married and has a son. Among others, Niklasch played with German Football legend Helmut Haller.
