Career
Born in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Alisson joined "s youth setup in 2002, aged ten. After appearing regularly with the under-23s, he made his senior debut on 17 February 2013, starting in a 1–1 away draw against Cruzeiro-RS for the Campeonato Gaúcho championship. Alisson made his Série A debut on 25 August 2013, playing the full 90 minutes in a 3–3 home draw against Goiáson
A backup to Dida in 2014, Alisson was named first-choice in October, finishing the year with 11 league matches.
After representing Brazil at under-17 and under-20 levels, Alisson was called up to the main squad by manager Dunga for the first two matches of the 2018 World Cup qualification campaign against Chile and Venezuela.
