Career

He is currently playing with Djurgårdens IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Englund was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the second round (40th overall) of the 2014 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Englund made his Swedish Hockey League debut during the 2014-2015 SHL season.
