Career
He is currently plays for and is the captain of the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL. Beauvillier was drafted by the New York Islanders with the 28th overall pick in the 2015 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Beauvillier was drafted by the Shawinigan Cataractes in the 1st round (2nd overall) of the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft, and he played 64 games with the Cataractes during the 2013-2014 QMJHL season. The following season his outstanding play was rewarded when he was selected to play in the 2015 CHL/National Hockey League Top Prospects Game, where he lead Team Cherry as captain.
He was also named to the 2014-2015 QMJHL Second All-Star Team.
Beauvillier competed with the Canada Quebec team at the 2014 World U-17 Hockey Challenge. On December 1st, 2015, Beauvillier was invited to the Team Canada selection camp for the 2016 World Junior Hockey Championships.
