Career
She took gold in the junior (15–16 years old) girls category in the World Age Competition in Eindhoven, Netherlands, but suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury representing Great Britain at the senior World Championships in Canada which halted her sporting career for three years. Following a long rehabilitation, Philip returned to elite sport, dedicating herself to elite athletics. Born in Leyton, east London, she had competed in double mini trampoline since aged 4.
After winning the World Youth gold, she ruptured the cruciate ligament in her right knee competing in the Great Britain team event at the double-mini Trampoline World Championships in Quebec, Canada.
This ruled her out of competing at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Asha graduated from Kingston University in 2012, with a degree in Bachelor(Honours)Drama.
