Averky Borisovich Aristov was a Soviet politician and diplomat.
Career
Born at Krasny Yar in Astrakhan Governorate, he was the son of a fisherman, working for a fishery during 1912 - 1919. Dismissed from the Political Bureau in 1961, he became ambassador to Poland (1961–1971) and to Austria (1971–1973). He was buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery, Moscow.
Politics
In 1919 he joined the Communist Youth League and 1921 he became a member of the Bolshevik Party.
