Jordan was a three-time All-American at Stanford University where she obtained her degree in economics in three years. Jordan made her first appearance on Hewlett-Packard/WITA (Women's Tennis Association) computer in August 1977 at Number. Served as chairman of the Tournament Committee in 1980.
She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from University of California, Los Los Angeles She is the sister of tennis player Kathy Jordan.
