(Soria-Moria Castle: Norwegian fairy tale Soria Moria Cast...)
Soria-Moria Castle: Norwegian fairy tale Soria Moria Castle is a Norwegian fairy tale made famous by Peter Christen Asbjornsen and Jorgen Moe. The hero cannot hold his tongue at the right time, and as a result loses the princess for whom he had so strenuously fought. The recognition of Halvor by his mother by the flickering light of the hearth-fire, in whose ashes Halvor was always digging when a boy, is touchingly told. This book will be an excellent example and a lesson for your children.

Jørgen Engebretsen Moe was born on April 22, 1813, at Hole, Norway.
Moe entered the University of Oslo in 1830 to study theology.
He became a pastor, and in 1875 a bishop. He also wrote verse, but he is remembered primarily for his collaboration with P. C. Asbjørnsen in the collection of Norske Folkeeventyr (1841) ("Norwegian Folk Tales"), one of the best-loved classics of Norwegian literature and famous beyond national boundaries. The idea of making such a collection was suggested by Grimm's German fairy tales.
