United States debut in 11 Tabarro and Cavalleria Rusticana, Lyric Opera, Chicago 1955. Appeared at Metropolitan Opera, New York in Aida (as Radames) and 11 Trovatore (as Manrico) 1955-1956. Now appears at all the major opera houses in Europe, and also in United States of America and South America.
Repertoire includes many Verdi roles.
