Background
Armin Falk was born 18 January 1968 in Bergisch-Gladbach. He studied at the University of Cologne. He is a German economist, professor at the University of Bonn and one of the leaders of the Institute of Labor Economics and director at the Bonn Laboratory of Experimental Economics. Falk studied economics, philosophy and history at the University of Cologne. He earned his doctoral degree under supervision of Ernst Fehr at the University of Zürich, where he also obtained his Habilitation. Falk holds a chair at the University of Bonn since 2003.
