In 1890’s ’’Legal Marxist”. 1900 in doctor’s thesis Kqpitalizm izemledeliye (Capitalism and Agriculture) revised Marxist theory of agrarian question. After 1905-1907 rcvol joined Constitutional Democrats.
Contributed to anthology Vekhi 1907 elected Oryol Province deputy to 2nd State Duma. From 1918 orthodox priest. 1922 expelled from Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics for anti-Soviet activities.
