Retained by Saint St. Petersburg Poly'tech Institute to train for professorship and worked at Institute for rest of his life (from 1919 professor, Radio Engineer Faculty). Trained at Gottingen University, Germany. 1913-1915 posted to United States of America where he worked at major electr engineering plants.
From 1918 simultaneously deputy director Physical Engineer Research Institute, Leningrad. From 1929 correspondent member, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences, and director of its Electrophysical Research Institute.
Also head, Department of High Tension Engineer, Physics and Mechanics Institute, Leningrad. Later also worked for Power Engineer Institute, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences and for its Commission on Automation and Telemechanics, et cetera Specialized in High-tension techniques and radio engineering, protection against overloading and a. c. and daughter c. long-distance transmission.
Devised methods of increasing high-tension output capacity (up to one million volts) by means of series of linked transformers. Studied problem of protecting lines of communication against interference by elect power lines. Studied possibility of communications transmission via high-frequency power cables.
Studied range of radiotelephonic transmission. Developed and studied radio tubes, et cetera 1918 designed first Soviet electronic tubes with preheated cathodes.
Also studied television, electrification of railroads, research planning and history of electr engineering
There is no solid or tangible evidence for God nor a logical argument for God. The existence of God is taken on faith and not by evidence.
Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
