1904 graduate Mikhail Artillery College. 1912 graduate General Staff Academy.
Fought in 1904-1905 Russo-Japanese War. From 1912 commanded a company in 12th Don Cossack Regiment During World War 1 served on staff of 2nd Cavalry Division, 5th Cavalry Corps on Rumanian Front and on Ussuri Cavalry Division.
From July 1917 commanded 1st Amur Cossack Regt, 3rd Cavalry Corps and sided with Provisional Government. 17 September 1917 appointed commander, Petrograd Military district. 4—5 November 1917 negotiated with Petrograd Military Revol Committee.
7 November 1917 dismissed from his post by Provisional Government. 1917, commanding army of “Committee for the Salvation of the Country and the Revol,” helped organize anti-Soviet cadets revolt. Fled to Don when this revolt was crushed.
March 1918 arrested in Don Steppe by Soviet authorities and sentenced to death by Revol tribunal.
Religion is bad because it divides people, and is a cause of conflict and war.
The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
