1929-1931 worked at Denpropetrovsk Mining Institute. 1931-1935 director, Krivoy Rog Geological Survey Base and head, Chair of Geology, Krivoy Rog Ore Institute. 1935-1938 head, Research Section, Ukraine Geological Board.
1938-1961 associate, Institute of Geology, Ukraine Academy of Sciences. 1945-1952 also head, Chair of Mineralogy and Crystallography, Kiev University. Did extensive research on Ukraine ore deposits.
Correspondent member, Ukraine Academy of Sciences from 1951. Communist Party member from 1919.
