From 1883 professional actor. 1885-1888 actor, Slaritskiy, then Krapivnilskiy Companies. 1886-1887 on lour in Saint St. Petersburg and Moscow.
1888-1890 with A. Sadovskiy’s Company. 1890 founder-director, Association of Russian and Little-Russian Artistes. From 1889 also worked as stage director
1898 — 1909, together with Sadovskiy, directed Joint Association, later Little Russian Company. 1910-1915 toured Russia with various companies. 1915 co-founder, Association of Ukraine Artistes.
