Education

1900 graduate Moscow’s Stroganov College. Studied under the artists K. Korovin, South. Ivanov and F. Shekhtel’.

Career

Did book illustrations. 1906-1912 stage designer, Moscow Arts Theater. 1911 — 17 instructor, Stroganov College, Moscow.

From 1915 film designer. From 1945 instructor, Moscow Higher Indiana Art College.
