Career

Lecturer, Scientific Courses Society 1978-1989. Adviser to Solidarity Interfactory Founding Committee, Gdansk, then to National Understanding Commission, and National Commission, of Solidarity Trade Union 81. Interned 1981-1982, indicted on a charge of attempt of subverting a political system September 1982, released under amnesty August 1984.

Attached to Lech Walesa, Chair, of Solidarity Trade Union. Participant Round Table plenary debates. Deputy to Sejm (Pari.) 1989-1991.

Chairman Sejm Commission, for National and Ethnical Minorities, Deputy Chairman Civic Pari. Club; Minister of Labour and Social Policy September since 1989. Honorary degree (Emory University) 1990.
