Petar Alaupovic, Czech, Croatian Biochemist, educator. Achievements include research on chemistry of naturally occuring macromolecular lipid compounds such as serum and tissue lipoproteins and bacterial endotoxins, on biochemistry of red cell membranes; isolation and characterization of tissue lipases. Named Distinguished Career Scientist Oklahoma Medical Research Fund, 1990; National Institutes of Health grantee, 1961-1995.
