Career
He played League football as a fullback for Sheffield Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers. Baker started his career as an amateur at Tottenham Hotspur before joining Sheffield Wednesday at the start of the 1957-1958 season. He joined QPR at the start of the 1960-1961 season and spent three years at the club, making 27 league appearances.
Upon leaving QPR in 1963 he joined non-league club Romford.
