He is perhaps best known for being Major Boothroyd in the first James Bond film, Doctor Burton made two uncredited reappearances in Bond movies, first as an Royal Air Force officer in Thunderball (1965), and later as a secret agent in the satirical Casino Royale. Burton guest starred in a number of television shows, including The Avengers, The Saint, Return of the Saint, and unidentified flying object. Doctor Casino Royale.
