He is a presenter of the British Broadcasting Corporation educational documentary series Victorian Farm, Edwardian Farm, Tudor Monastery Farm and Wartime Farm, and the 2005 series Tales from the Green Valley. He recently featured in the series Secrets of the Castle. He is the only presenter to appear in every Farm series except for Ruth Goodman.
He did not appear in the related Victorian Pharmacy.
Ginn lived in Bodicote and went to Street John"s Remote Control Primary and Blessed George Napier Schools. Ginn studied Egyptian archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London.
