Kruschwitz currently is one of the leading experts in Latin linguistics, Roman metre, Latin verse inscriptions (the so-called Carmina Latina Epigraphica), Roman comedy (most notably Plautus and Terence), and the wall inscriptions of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Professor of Classics at the University of Reading (since 2011) Reader in Classics at the University of Reading (2009-2011) Lecturer in Classics at the University of Reading (2007-2009) Visiting Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford (2007) Emmy Noether Scholarship at the University of Oxford (2005-2007).
