Curator, Natural History Collections in Glasgow Museums since 1902; Lecturer on Mineralogy and Geology in the Glasgow and West of Scotland Technical College; Honourable Secretary the Glasgow Geological Society and Editor of Transactions; Examiner in Geology in University of Aberdeen, 1908-1910; Consulting Geologist in questions of Mining and Civil Engineering.
