Career
Wellings was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. Wellings made his first-class debut for against Kent in the County Championship. From 1996 to 1997, he represented the county in 6 first-class matches, the last of which came against Sussex.
In his 6 first-class, he scored 378 runs at a batting average of 47.25, with a single century high score of 128*.
